Dates are confirmed for the maintenance and sometimes re-planting of woodland saplings originally planted on three public land locations in Adur by TreeAction volunteers in 2019.
Around half of the 100 woodland saplings originally planted have not survived, but new ones have been ordered to replace these and will be planted with support from volunteers and Adur & Worthing council environment team on 22nd January. The maintenance events will then take place on 3rd Saturday of each month. The sites are Southwick Recreation Ground to the rear of the Southwick Leisure Centre, Buckingham Park in Shoreham by Sea and Adur Recreation Ground in Shoreham by Sea. The events for the next few months will be on the morning of 22nd Jan, 19th Feb, and 19th March and the third Saturday of the month thereafter.
