As a BusinessWhy Support Tree Action?
Becoming a business partner of Tree Action shows your commitment to the environment and better mental health of young people in Sussex. It also sends a positive message to your staff about the company they work for, and shows your customers and business partners you care for the tree planting and maintenance projects and young people’s engagement with it in the community.
As a business partner donating from £10 a month you can use our “We Help Tree Action to Plant Trees” logo on your website and would be invited to specific tree planting and maintenance events and activities. If you can donate £100 or more per month you would also have use of our 100 Club logo and get to take part in specific school projects that you would be paying for each year.
This is how your monthly donations could make a difference:
Per month
- Purchase of second hand tools
- Allows students to get involved in planting or weeding at their school or local park
Per month
- Planting 1 tree per season eg. Silver Birch at a school in Sussex
- Protection for the trees
- Watering cans for the students
Per month
- Planting of 2 young woodland trees per season eg. Silver Birches, Limes or Oaks at a school in Sussex
- Protection for the trees
- Watering cans and tools for students
Per month
- Planting a small orchard of 4 trees per season, either apple, pear, plum, or cherry, at a school in Sussex
- Protection for the trees
- Watering cans for students
- Use of our “Tree Action 100 Club” logo
- Involving your staff in our tree planting events

- Planting an orchard of 8-10 fruit trees per season, either apple, pear, plum, or cherry, at a school in Sussex
- Protection for the trees
- Watering cans and tools for the students
- Involving your team in a school tree planting project
- Dedicating these trees to your business

Per month
- Planting of 16 standards per season including an orchard of fruit trees, either apple, pear, plum, or cherry. Plus English native woodland trees, either silver birches, oaks, hazel, field maple, or chestnut
- Protection for the trees
- Watering cans and tools for the students
- Involving your team in a school tree planting project
- Dedicating trees to your business name or names of your team
- Help Tree Action to reinvest in fundraising and marketing to grow and support more school projects

1 Day tree planting events for your staff
We are now offering 1- day tree planting event days to business teams on either private land estates or public land sites in Sussex. This will involve planting staking and protecting trees in the morning and/or afternoon. Money raised from these events will go towards our Sussex school tree planting projects.

Naming Trees after your team or business
You can directly sponsor a tree or a whole orchard which we can then plant in a school. In return you will receive a certificate of dedication and depending on the project a plaque or permanent dedication can be arranged.
